우족 Ujok – Beef Feet
Beef Feet is the part of the cow below the kneecap. It is differentiated from sagol, which is the upper part of the kneecap.
It is usually more expensive than beef bone, and has traditionally been used as a health food in Korea.
Beef feet are eaten by making soup, or boiling and pressing them to make flattened meat.The boiling method is similar to that of beef bones.
It is also delicious as a spicy steamed dish.
